Qualifying criteria
To qualify for RAF Expert Bridging Finance:
- You must be a medico-legal expert, expert practice or advocate
- Your professional services on the underlying RAF matter must have been completed
- The underlying RAF claim must have been finalised
- Your fees must remain outstanding
- The attorney handling the matter must verify the relevant matter, fees and expected payment
- The expected proceeds must be sufficient to repay the advance and agreed fees
Individual invoices or a portfolio of qualifying outstanding fees may be considered.
